Nam Cát Tiên

 Dong Nai is famous for being an interesting place that contains many interesting things not to be missed such as Nam Cat Tien National Park. The park was established based on merging Nam Cat Tien forbidden forest, Tay Cat Tien Nature Reserve, and Cat Loc Rhino Sanctuary, located in 3 provinces of Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, and Lam Dong. Around the 70s, Nam Cat Tien forest existed in two areas, Nam Cat Tien and Tay Cat Tien. It was then named Cat Tien National Park. This is the decision to connect Nam Cat Tien forbidden forest and Tay Cat Tien nature reserve into one.


The fauna includes sun bear, sun bear, gaur, Asian elephant, wild buffalo, tiger, leopard, clouded leopard, and deer... Birds are diverse such as white-winged mallards, black eagles, hornbills... Nam Cat Tien forest is home to 40 species listed in the World Red Book, the most special of which is the one-horned rhinoceros.
